Merry Christmas!

Well another Christmas Eve has come and gone, Sidekick Sue and Homee Dad did our usual activities and have decided top share the photos. For starters we visited the main street during the evening when the traffic was gone. This is Kenora's Christmas pride and joy - The Christmas Tree! The pic doesn't really do it justice you really have to be there but we are still proud of it all the same.

Next is especially for Mego as promised. SKS and I went to the cemetery as well to visit Nicole and place our ice candle and rose. I thanked Nicole for watching over Mego and asked that she keeps an eye on her and her family.

I have inserted another photo taken at the cemetery, again it really does not do it justice but you will get the idea of why Christmas in Kenora is so precious to us. The candles ( all 5,000 of them ) were lit by 50 volunteers that did the job in about 1 - 2 hours late in the afternoon on 24th.

Christmas around HD and SKS humble abode is also as part of the season as the events on the Eve of Christmas. We are often visited by our local creatures who take up residence on our property especially while the snow beds the ground.

Alas all good things must come to and end, we getting prepared to sit an sup with friends until we can sup no more. Tis the season - two weeks of eating, soon to be followed by two weeks in the Panama Canal. Stay tuned for more updates from HD and SKS as they make the transitions from the Atlantic to the Pacific aboard one of Princess's finest vessels. Pictures and commentary to follow.
Until then - Stay safe
Have a Very Happy New Years Celebration
