2010 - its a new start

It seems that the years have gone by and here we are in 2010, there was no stopping time. As Homee Dad always says and truly believes
" Getting old is mandatory - Growing up is not" Yes but we have all the memories, far to many to mention in but a single blog. Some have been forgotten by choice and yes others by circumstance. Often I recall the past which at times causes Hommes somewhat aging face to smile, sometimes frown and far to often giggle. The past is who we are and often determines to a greater extent what we will become. Its at moments like this that I find myself envious of the rock ants of Egypt. The past can be as early as yesterday or as far back as teaching my buddy to skate. As we are all faced with the past we also find ourselves gazing at the future, what will come, what will be, what will I do? Will they ever make kettle chips in a noise free bag?
None of these can be answered for sure but we can speculate.

There are famous persons who have made a name for themselves predicting events which have not yet come. At times these predictions are obvious while others are questioned. Spending the Christmas season with grasshopper and his lovely bride made Homee think! It was such a fun time, it seems that grasshopper is maturing quite well. Can it be that he may posses some of the Homee traits? Can it be that these traits may be ingrained into his offspring? What a world this would be - a third generation of Homee's - its all starting to make itself clear - a world of Homee's - different yet the same.
It appears that I have managed to go off course *********** Focus ********** Yes the meaning of Homees first message of 2010. Its at this time that Homee Dad is going to step out on the edge and submit to my followers my suggested happenings for the year 2010:

People:

Tiger Woods will come out with a book deal in which he tells all - the surprise will be his childhood dream was to work in the circus. No wait - he's performing one right now!

There will be a Movie release titled "EYES OF THE TIGER", the movie will follow the real life drama of the women in Tigers life. Casting is not yet set but front runner for the lead role of Tiger Woofs are said to be Denzel Washington and Johnny Depp.

Politics:

Michael Ignatieff will be visited by three spirits of ex-Prime Ministers who will enlighten him with the realization that when your not in office its easy to be right!

Entertainment:
CBC will produce a new reality TV series hosted by none other than Rick Mercer. Contestants will be challenged to view such Canadian entertainment as Corner Gas, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Flash Point and of course This hour has 22 minutes.

After hours of reruns they will then be tuned into - yes you guessed it, the Parliament channel- if they manage to stay awake they will be forced to identify characters in Parliament and match them to the much loved Canadian programs listed above.

The bonus round will be a simple question: how many times in 2010 will we be threatened with an election.

Sports:

The Toronto Maple Leafs will make the playoffs

World Happenings:

An unknown masked man will infiltrate the White house, making off with the presidents Nobel Peace Prize. After many failed attempts to sell it on EBay said man will again breach security to return the award.

Other:
Makers of Kraft Peanut Butter will revisit the practice of placing a whole real peanut stuck in the top of each freshly opened container. This bold move will come after they come to the realization that peanut butter has peanuts in it.

Homee and Side Kick wish all the best for the year 2010.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and SKS.

I'm amazed (or should that be amused)at your incredible talent at predictions.

Your political view was well taken.

I am suspect at your Leaf one though, It appears that you and Cherylinn frequent the same opium den.

As I was about to publish this wisdom, I noticed that your Blog doesn't allow anonymous comments. What a shame, I know of somebody who specializes in them. Oh well, you won't hear from him.

Cherylinn:

What happened to our Leafs last night - did you know in 1967 when they won their last SC, they lost 10 games in a row! They have not done that yet this year so there is hope.

Gryper:

I suppose they are only predictions if they come to pass - perhaps we will get together at the Leaf's playoff games. Not sure about the anonymous comments thing, not sure how that showed up or if its always been there. To bad as Homee welcomes all thoughts.

Interesting predictions, I'm betting on them ... we'll reflect on them at the end of 2010.

Excuse me, 'a spies' makes no sense that has supposed to be "a spy" or it could have been just spies. Ah forget it, it looses something in the telling.
