Homee Dad to the rescue

It's like Batman would feel when he saw the light in the sky, the adrenaline - the need to drop all and jump into action no matter the cost. Yes Homee Dad was viewing blogs and MSN when he saw it. Like a dagger into his side, one of Homee Dads offspring had turned on the Homee Light, the northern lights nothing in comparison.

"HELP - I'm going to a Ball" HD immediately ran to the closet to find it, you know the cape, tights, and of course mask to hide ones identity. But alas after wearing same in public it appears Side Kick Sue has taken the liberty to hide my alter ego. I tried with my x-ray vision but it appears it only works when one is fitted in a suit of spandex, dragging a cape and identity concealed.

After recovering from the shock of realizing HD will have to jump into action naked as they may say - I am ready to come to the aid of our third born " The Stepher".

First thing Stepher - don't panic! It has been my experience that panic usually results in negative and sometimes embarrassing moments. Its like opening that bucket of PB and realising there are only scrapings in the bottom. You hear someone coming down the hall - thinking they also may want that last morsel you plunge your face into the bucket scraping the bottom with your tongue. (be careful of the little nib in the centre as it can cut). It seems they were just looking for a glass of water, you remove your face in an attempt to look civilized but are left with that unmistakable PB ring around the face because you felt the need to panic!

Second child of ours: A Ball is only a Ball because they did not call it a Sock. HD has had the opportunity to attend such events, in fact the last one was when I felt the desire to wear the tights, it was amazing the attention I received. Only wish I could find where SKS has placed them.......... REBOOT - back to the topic at hand, if Matthew had come home and stated we are going to a SOCK, would you have felt the desire to locate pieces of material you currently do not own for the purpose of wrapping ones self in and perspiring into while you enjoy the sock? I think not!

I noted the negative attention you directed Matthews way in your correspondence addressing his minor glitch in that he failed to use the word "BALL". This one word seems to be the cause of your uncontrollable panic and need to part with good old Canadian currency for the purpose of participating in this even. And fear not oh seed of my loin the expression " what the F&%$" in your correspondence did not go unnoticed. Perhaps you may wish in future to replace the expression of panic with the word SOCK or SHOE or TIGHTS or ..... you get the point. But my child do not panic as your offspring are still unable to take in your correspondence.

Well as is often the case - saving the world is somewhat draining on the mind. Homee Dad is feeling the need to meditate in himself for the purpose of recharging. It is never clear when my powers may be required again. Must find the tights!

Have Fun at at the SOCK!

Stay Safe - Don't panic
