The adventure is ongoing

Well last time we spoke HD and SKS were leaving the Panama Canal en route to Putarenas in Costa Rica. This was an amazing looking place - we went on the sky walk as they called it. A series of swinging bridges through the jungles, it was a hoot - the one bridge was 109 feet high over the canyon and 200 feet long. We were always looking for monkeys and of course they wait until you are in the middle of the bridge swaying from side to side before they come out of the canopy above you.

We left headed for San Juan Del Sur in Nicaragua - again this was amazing because it was much more than we expected. We did a tour on horse back through the hills, jungle area and of course along a huge fresh water lake. What an amazing way to see the country.

Yesterday was Puerto Quetzal in Guatemala, we took a tour into the central part of the country where we did a boat tour on a huge lake surrounded by volcano's - one was active it was amazing. This country sports 33 volcano's of which 5 are active. The entire time we were escorted by National Police on this stop.

Activities on the ship are also continuing, eat, play, RUM and dancing - the shows are also very good. As I put finger to the keys we are on route to Huatulco Mexico were we are going on a river raft experience! This will be the last stop on mainland until we get to L. A. Looking forward to the rest of sea days - besides we are planning all kinds of activities. Oh almost forgot - big deck party tonight - food, rum and dancing - this theme seems to repeat itself??

Stay safe

It sounds like an amazing trip.

The swing bridge sounds like good fun. When I was a kid we had a swing bridge over the Humber River to get to Weston. On Sundays, people would go for walks, if they were strangers, us kids would get in the middle and start it swinging and scare the hell out of them.
