Homee's Boxing Day gift

Tis the day after Christmas
and under Homee's tree
all the presents are opened
who wins - well of course me!

There was cashews and clothing
many presents you pick
but the best - yeh you guessed it
it was Sue - his side kick

although working this morning
she came home as soon as able
good thing she could make it
Homee sulking at the table

they started with stockings
then moved on to the gifts
then the calls started coming
and their minds they did shift

the calls, yeh they got them
quite early that morn
for the offspring had spoken
seems like yesterday just born

there was Mego and Buddy,
Stepher and Bean
all heard and enjoyed
but not one of them seen

Homee hung up the phone
knowing soon he would see
first Thomas and Megan
Then Mego makes three!

It was then that he realised
just what Christmas is for
its not what is opened
its those coming who bring MORE!
