Counting the days
OK Only 43 days til the fat man comes! Tis the time of year that visions of sugar plums are dancing, the gentle tap of hoofs on the roof, baking has been devoured, the aroma of turkey fills the house and lets see - have I forgot anything " PRESENTS - PRESENTS - PRESENTS !!!!!!!!" How could I have forgot.
The bigger the tree the more presents to fit under it. Of course the Cain Kids are well aware of the main rule over the festive season - If Homee Dad doesn't win - NOBODY WILL! Lots,- more that one can count, who cares what it is as long as there is lots of it.
awe but Homee Dad has a significant dilema this year, He stuggles with the Xmas count down as well as the Trip of a lifetime! 62 days and counting, Mego has found it in herself to make available the trip of a lifetime to Homee Dad ( sue can come too). 21 Days on the high seas, exploring the numerous pieces of terra ferma sticking up from the seas bluer than blue.
I can only imagine the anxiousness of the SEA'S captain as he no doubt by now has been told he will soon share his vessel with none other than HOMEE DAD. Can you imagine his excitement!
I am sure he is advising the staff to set a permanent place at his table - Homee to sit at the right hand of the man. I think history may have recorded someone of significance sitting at the right hand of the man! History repeats itself.

But Homee is a rational man - Xmas first - " concentrate on the festive season" Charlie Brown, Snoopy, The grinch, all great examples of the festive season. I wonder if they have ever toured the high seas. (OOOPS) Sorry - need to focus!

I've just about finished all my Christmas Shopping.....what a great feeling.
OK you are about as wacked as Sue is - what about the hussle and bussle. The shoving and screaming, the road rage!!!! You are all missing the spirit of christmas
Whats gotten into the world - have we just thrown tradition out the door.
I fail to give in Homee Dad will hold onto those moments as often as as long as able.

Also I've noticed you must have lost count afterall there are no posts with regard to how many more sleeps.
The count is never lost, Homee is confused this year as it is 27 Sleeps till the fat man comes! This is very exciting but I struggle with the fact that there are only 45 days til we leave for the Sea Princess. 21 days on the Sea, dipping our toes in thew crystal blue waters!!

Bragging rights....I have tickets to the Leaf/Habs game on January 27. OH YAH!!!
I bet the captain is already polishing the buttons on his dress uniform!!
The countdown is officially posted at work, its a tradition and they expect it each year. As for the Leaf/Hab tickets - "so what, I wouldn't want to go anyway " was that childish enough? Life sucks - we need the Jets back!
Hey widget - you bet he's polishing his buttons, he's never had the Homee Dad Experience. We are super pumped (I bet he is also)
26 Sleeps to go til the fat man come - I will concentrate on one countdown at a time - after all I am a simple man.

Homee dad, I have a news flash for you. If you intend on dipping your toes in the crystal blue water from the ship, you better quite cutting your toe nails because the water is a long way down.
The gryper has awakened !! Not bad for someone of your vintage. I am certain that I will find many opportunities to make the dip as it were. That is when I am not attending to duties with the Captain. After all Homee dad will be more than willing to assist with keeping THE SEA on course!
Did I mention we are pumped!!!!!
